SAMAT (صمت) Is a display Arabic typeface I produced during my Bachelor's. I started to work on it after theoretical research on the influence of the global market and Orientalism on Arabic Typography.
The process was to engage with pre-mechanical Calligraphy (Khatt) to understand the transformation of the script grammar.
