Punctured
An interactive 3D environment about survival in landscapes shaped by violence, extraction, and structural abandonment. Using satellite imagery from mining zones, machine-learning image extraction, and manual spatial construction, the project treats damaged terrain as an active site where memory, endurance, and decentralized forms of life continue to reorganize.

About
A Berlin-based designer.
Ahmed Isamaldin is a designer and media artist based in Berlin and originally from Khartoum. He studied Visual Communication at weißensee kunsthochschule berlin and previously studied physics in Khartoum and Moscow.
- His work is concerned with image-making, spatial representation, archives, and research, often in relation to Sudan. Alongside his artistic and design practice, he has worked in social support and refugee assistance in Berlin. He works across different formats, combining visual, technical, and research-based methods.
